Filled with all the ingredients that makes a book great, Moonshot is just the right book for loosing yourself into a story you wouldn't dare to forget.
Let me tell you first, I loved Love, Chloe by Torre; and never believed I could love any other book of her more.... But boy was I wrong ! Torre once again caught me in her web of amazing writing with drool-worthy characters..
"A woman shouldn’t be created in such heartbreakingly beautiful combinations. A woman shouldn’t, in fifteen minutes, have the ability to ruin him for life. "
The moment I started the Moonshot is lost on me, because you see I lost every sense of reality when I started reading this no-words-to-describe-how-good-this-is read. I'm not kidding !
“You can try to paint this however you want— the press can paint this however they want—but there is nothing wrong with our relationship. It’s the purest thing in my life. She is saving me....I need this to work. I need her in my life."
The story of Chase & Ty was not what I expected. I expected first epic meet, the unbearable but necessary angst, the page- burning scenes with just a touch of tear-bringing moments. Moonshot had it all and soooo much more.
"He loved me. Fiercely. Unselfishly. For most women, it was all they needed in life. But me, I needed the curse to stop. I needed a year to pass without blood marring our pinstripes."
You see I never expected nail-biting suspense, head crushing frustration, ever present under lying tension and the big jaw dropping shock . I never expected these from Moonshot because I thought no book could be that great. Hah, but I was in for unexpected but so welcomed shock !
"I lifted my gaze from his lips to his eyes and saw the hurt in them, the miss, the need. Need that I couldn’t step away from. Need that I felt in every part of my body. “Take me somewhere, Chase."
I'm telling you this guys, missing Moonshot is not something you wanna do, especially when its gonna become one of your best read. That I can guarantee ..
